Hosni Mubarak Pictures, Images and Photos Egypt is Iran?

Does this sound familiar? 30 years of a U.S.-friendly middle eastern government, ruled by a strong man who enjoys support from Presidents of both parties.

A group of young people--some with legitimate grips, and some with ties to Islamic radicals--stage protests and riots in the streets.

And a weak U.S. President fails to back the ally. The government falls, and a VERY unfriendly regime takes over.

DO YOU SEE THE COMMON THEME?!

November 26, 1979 cover of Time Magazine

Carter's pussyfooting encouraged Islamic fundamentalists worldwide. And look at what it hath wrought in Iran...and elsewhere.

Now look, we don't KNOW right now who or WHAT will take the place of current President Hosni Mubarak...the man is 82 years old, so his absence was going to come sooner rather than later.

We can PROBABLY safely guess the new government will not be pro-American, and may not be very willing to tolerate the existence of Israel. Yes, Jimmy Carter's one great achievement--the Camp David accords between Israel and Egypt--is dependent upon an Egyptian government abiding by the treaty signed by Anwar Sadat and Menacheim Begin so long ago.

One VERY disturbing report, out of the UK, but ignored by Obama's lapdog American media, is that the current White House has been planning to stab Hosni Mubarak in the back for quite some time.

One thing seems certain: Obama's willingness to THROW our ally Mubarak under the bus will NOT be seen as an encouraging signal to other allies across the globe.
