"Stars" ask for a BAILOUT...

Anyone notice Lady GaGa wasn't twittering? Me either. Apparently millions didn't. Ryan Seacrest and some girls called the "Kardashians" also were staying off all social media. (That currently means internet sites like "Twitter", "Facebook", and "MySpace".) The "goal" was to raise $1,000,000 for AIDS in one week. Nice goal, although considering the net worth of all the so-called luminaries involved, they each could've given of their excess and never missed a dime.

But the kings and queens of Papparazi-Dome didn't WANT to give of their excess. They wanted their zombie-like fans to give of theirs.

Except, well, guess what? Their fans didn't care. No one missed their little missives of gossip. And the group began to get whiney. Eventually, they were able to persuade ONE GUY to give $500,000 so they could save face and get back on their twitter accounts, and facebook pages.

...and to think, the world could've had a few more days without Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake telling us what they had for lunch.
